So there is an Oil Temp gauge? Is it part of the digital readout? Can you share the readout with other info?

Sorry about answering your question with questions. I was told there would be one months ago, but no confirmation in further info, ie the owners manuel & magazine articles.

PLEASE advise!

As to your question, it will depend on where it is measured. My best guess is 200 degrees F. On my old race car, I asked Valvoline, and their answer was optimum temp, measured in the oil pan, is between 210 & 220 degrees F. Something about warm enough to boil off any condensation. My VW generally reads 190 to 210, except when the air temp is close to 90 degrees and the air conditioner is maxed, or when I had it on Road America, during lapping hour, when it got as hot as 235 degrees.

As to play time, any time in a Z must be play time I will suggest 190 degrees.
