Well I just got the call and my heart is pumping. Dallas Bankston just got one in and Bill called me. Mine is getting off loaded right now (3:21 CST) and will be ready at 7:00. Bill was pretty shaken up because I was at work and he had to leave thee message on my voice mail. I swear he was almost crying. It is the 5th one they have received. I was their last week and I was scheduled for 9-11 delivery. What a freekin great surprise for the Holiday Weekend. Road Trip!!! Might have to cruise over to LA and gamble a bit.

Bill said it had 1.3 (not 13) miles on it! Seems real low but I'll take it. Waiting for me to fill it up with gas. No test drives and no front plates.

Open invite for Internet Abyss and other Metroplexers. I live in Frisco and would be open to showing it and testing it for my fellow z fans. What do you think? It is the least I can do for the guys who got me through my fix.

No it was not showing up. Arrived out of the blue. Dealer told me last Sat. it would be the 11th.

 

Congrats! I was one of the 5 folks that got theres from Bankston of Dallas. I picked mine up last Friday. The guys there have been great. Actually stopping by the dealership tomorrow. Enjoy the ride!!!!! Speaking of which we need all the DFW guys/gals to get theres so we can meet up.

 

Are you the one that traded the white '90 in wuth some rediculously low miles on it or the black mitsu with Zaino? If you are the Zaino guy, I would love to see how good it looks on the car. They said the mitsu looked awesome but it was not on the lot on Sat. Service manager drove it home.

 

Nope, I didn't trade anything in. I picked up my car in their first batch which was a black track, chrome enthusiast, and mine a silverstone perfomance....we Z-virginized the dealership..hehe.

 

Any chance of arranging a meeting at Bankston in the future. I really want to see the Zaino in person?

PS- The guys at Bankston thought you were a little nuts. I had to explain the fill Zaino process to them. They said whatever he does it looked great on your mitsu!

 

Is this the Bankston at 635 and Preston...I've been dying to show my girlfriend the car and would love to watch you drive away tonight...I live at 635 and Marsh- So I'm close. I got a chrome touring coming in a month or so!

 

EZ....You want my address......I love going on rides till I get my Z on tuesday....I actually got friends at work saying they have seen your cars out there...and keep asking didnt you order one of those cars....Im like "yes" and saying I'LL GET MINE SOON....LOL

 

Sorry, I guess we didn't help that cause by driving our Z's all over town...hehe. My coworkers are just happy I got mine so I will stop talking about it....little do they know I will never stop talking about this car!

 

EZ, I ordered mine Jan 24 as well. I was given an eta of Sept 10. So maybe I'll get mine early too! Man I sure hope so.. It would be perfect timing since we have a 3 day weekend. I'll going cruising on the seawall in Galveston to show it off. Damn!, how am I gonna get insurance on it if their closed until Tues?
