Default silverstone enthusiast six speed available in bay area.

I was in San Rafael Nissan today to pick up my pops 2001 frontier that was being serviced. They had a silverstone enthusiast 6 speed only option is floormats.I had previously posted that these guys were kinda of scummy and were trying for like 5,000 over msrp for one of theres z on ebay.Well today was a different story after I told them that I had msrp on order from a different dealer they offered to sell me the enthusiast on the spot for msrp.Very tempting but Its not the configuration I want so one of you lucky my350z readers better go snag it.Other point of interest in case you care the plastic was still on seats and the holes were already drilled for the front license plate.Oh and if someone from this sight buys this car from my tip how bout taking me for a quick spin for a finders feeAnyways hope this helps someone.-Wil

Default Who did you talk to?

I just got off the phone with San Rafael Nissan and they are asking $44,000 for the car....they said that was the market value and I told them they must be on crack.

I explained that I have a touring on order and they said they would be willing to deal, but not at MSRP since the "market value" is "so much more then that."

That is crazy I talked directly with the sales manager not sure if it was it because I was there in person. But now they are going back into the scummy zone.Tell them that you know for a fact someone was offered msrp today and that you will bring the check down today for the car.Anyways not trying to waste your time so good luck .

Default Spoke with Sammy

I called back and asked for the Sales Manger, Sammy. After being on hold for a while I explained my situation and that I was trying clear up the discrepancy on the price. He said he would sell it to me for $3000 over. He tried to justify it by saying that carsdirect.com is asking $4000 over so that $3000 over is good deal...

At that point I reminded him that I have a touring on order and it really makes no sense to pay the Touring price for an Enthusiast now.

Thanks for the tip--unfortunately I think greed is getting to them.
