Anybody out there used OBDII scan tool yet
This goes out to all the lucky Z owners, that have their cars. Have any of you hooked up any kind of OBDII scan tool to the car yet??
I have played with these in the past. It seems as the standard gets more excepted, car manufactures are starting to implement enhanced OBDII features for their cars. Allowing for viewing specific functions of the car. As well as adjusting some parameters in the ECU. (i.e. timing, mixture, etc).
I currently own an AutoTap, which is just an interface that hooks up to a laptop where all OBDII signals are processed and decoded.

We have used an ODB II tool on our cars to check codes and to view throttle and timing information.
Unfortunately the only tool out there to make adjustments on our ecu is the Nissan Consult II unit. It cost $5K so I dont think we will get into that.
I have used Diacom and other computer interfaces on other cars but not the Z. If there is one that works well with our car it would nice to try it.
