Gave away my Z and now I'm regretting it
I went from Z to G37. If you liked the Z for the grunt of it and the sports car feel don't go with the G.
The G is much more luxury aimed, don't get me wrong it is deceivingly quick in acceleration. It's much faster than my bolt on Z was, but it just doesn't feel that way. The stock exhaust is very muted compared to the Z and it feels very heavy (which it is) compared to the Z when it comes to it's handling, they feel nothing alike. If you miss the Z because it was a Z, I suggest you get another or get a 370Z.
The 6 series are nice cars but for 30k...I dunno if that's in the cards even with high miles and as said above maintenance costs will be rough.

Why go with another Z? there are so many other cars on the market worth trying out. You had one tried it out now either move on to the newer model or something else. Thats like marrying the first good girl you ever went out with. Explore

I don't want to go back to a z unless I can get my old one back or find a really really good deal.
Now I just don't know what to get. Any suggestions? I want a sporty car but with 4 seats. Anything good I can get with 15k cash?

didn't u say ur budget was 30k? with 15k another z! get an HR i doubt u can find an 07-08 for 15k.... why dont you look into a 07 335i i saw some adds on craiglist for 26k, 15k down payment finance the rest...
the 6 series is classy but it's a porky, ugly *****, and a 335i would put it to shame either in terms of performance or looks IMO. and no offense but you're on crack thinking you'll find a 650i for 30k, haha. if you have to stay in that price range but absolutely don't want another Z (don't see why not), 135/335 are a good bet. hell, if you're insistent on back seats you could even get a camaro SS/new mustang GT/CLK350 or even a used 996 carrera.. and that's not even considering the other good 2seaters like a vette/cayman/Z4 coupe... ton of choices in that range nowadays.
