350z that was stolen with LS1
I remember reading a week or two ago about a 350z being stolen with an LS1 in it. I couldn't find the original thread. I was visiting another 350z forum and came across a thread of a guy selling a built shortblock. The thing is he said he is selling it because he is putting an LS1 motor in. I just thought this may be the stolen LS1. It could be totally unrelated, but it may not be. If anyone knows the guy that had his car stolen let him know. Here is the link:

BTW, I think that LS1 that was stolen was crashed and recovered down the street wasn't it?

I didnt mean to accuse anyone, as I said in my original post. I was just saying it might be worth checking out. If my z was stolen I would want help finding it. In this case its nothing but it could've been something.

I'm confused.
The car that was stolen already had an LSx engine, iirc. Didn't it?
The posted link shows someone selling their built VQ35DE longblock, to pay for an upcoming LSx project.
If the stolen car had an LSx engine already in it, what does a VQ engine for sale have to do with anything?
