I am running behind at work, after taken some time off early last week ready to enjoy my Z but ended up just waiting and waiting until Thursday night.

I'll try to get as much work done as possible and get out of work tonight. If not, then I'll join you guys next time.

In any case, since most of us never see each other before, where is the meeting spot at the restaurant, parking lot or ???

I'm loosing my mind here. You guys spring this on me at the last minute? I may have to tell my girlfriend that our movie date is off. My Z won't arrive for two more weeks. Please tell me that we'll all be meeting up again. Sorry that I won't be able to make this meeting... Have fun and drink one for me.

Just thought I would post on this Austin thread that I was out there about 2 months back for the first time and that place parties harder than just about any place Ive ever been! And Ive been to just about every party place on on the west coast and pacific rim when I was in the Navy! We spent the Thur-Fri-Sat right there on that downtown strip and people there nuts! people running up walls and swinging from street lights Keep up the good work, we cant wait to go back!

 

Take your g/f to Ski Shores for “dinner” before the movie! It’s a dive, but the food is really good, and you can’t beat the view. It s/b a good way to get her more excited about your future Z and provide an opportunity to meet the local Zealots (yes, even some local S2000 owners are excited about this car)!

If you can’t make it, I’m sure there will be plenty of future opportunities.

 

Dude... ditch her highness the Princess Leia Organa ... and come out and talk cars and drink beer all night.

 

Could you guys that have been there shed some light on this? I know Chris's car wont be hard to miss, much less jran's, but do we just want to meet inside, or out by the cars. I'll be driving a white '92 MR2 Turbo.

If I have anything to say about it, this will definitely not be the last get together. I would like to see us get together at least once or twice a month.

 

For those of you who haven’t been there, Ski Shores is not all that big, and I’d expect we won’t be hard to find.

Nobody sits inside, and there’s plenty of seating right by the water. Ideally, we’ll get a table under the covered patio directly behind the building. Just for reference, I’m wearing a blue polo style shirt and khaki dockers (unless I escape work soon enough to go home and change into shorts). My cell phone # is 695-1127 if you have any probs. finding the place or the group.

 

Thanks to all of you who showed up tonight. It was nice meeting some new faces, and the we hope y'all will join us for HH's, drives, etc. down the road.

Hopefully someone will post pics...I'm sure all the members here would love to see how many S2000s came to check out a couple of 350Z's!

It was great seeing the turn out of the S2k community to a 350Z club event. lol, j/k Seriously though, it was cool turning the corner and seeing a Silverstone 350Z, 7 S2000s, a Vette and a couple M3s.

Thanks to jran and Touring for bringing out their cars.

This was a great first gathering. I can't wait for future events.
