Hey there are enough of us that we need to schedule some sort of get together.

I'm also interested to hear from Austin folks on the dealer's performances. I'm at Town North Nissan, anyone else purchase or going to purchase there? I see a lot of South Point folks, but no one from Round Rock or Town North.

I'm still waiting on my Chrome Silver Track...

I also thought I'd mention that there's a fairly active S2000 group here in Austin, and we'd welcome y'alls attendance at our regular HH's and Hill Country drives/BBQ runs. I know the Hill Country like the back of my hand (from several years of ripping through it on sportbikes), and I guarantee you'll experience some awesome roads to showcase your cars' performance.

We're very open to other cars as long as you drive within your limits and don't feel like you have anything to prove (as tempting as an S2000 vs. 350Z showdown would be ). It's a great group, and I'd continue hanging out w/ them even if I moved on to the Z or another car. I think there's a fair amount of interest in the Z among the local S2000 group, and we've even had discussions about drawing in more sports car enthusiasts rather than being S2000-centric.

Not an Austin guy by residence but call it home and spend at least a weekend every couple of months there. I would be up for some get togethers but most likely wouldn't be a true regular for the circuit. Besides, I would probably see my parents more often this way.

 

I'm also an Austin resident and hang with the S2000 group. There are several non-S2000 owners in it - and IMHO we need a lot more!

Probably not the best week for it... there are about 8 of us doing MSR next weekend. We plan to get together one evening to review the track (video, map, experienced drivers), and another evening to work on the cars. You can certainly join us for that!

And, if you already have a 350Z, don't bring it because we'll never get anything done that night!

You might want to drive up to MSR next weekend... there will be about a dozen S2000s there. And, if there is one person with a broken in 350Z, I'm hoping they show too. If not here, then definitely at TWS in October.

BTW, the event is from The Drivers Edge. Check their site for full details of the MSR event (which is sold out, sorry, but TWS is still open)...

We're active with the Miata club too... you guys need to connect with them too...

Did you pay above MSRP at Maxwell Town North? I skipped them since they are the same chain as Round Rock.
