Default Getting keyed....related to car color?

Just curious. I know there will be haters everywhere but do you think the color of car has an influence? Eg. A daytona blue would be more noticeble in a parking lot and therefore, have more chance of getting keyed.

PS. I know it's painfull, but if you've been keyed, what color is your car?

Default Jet Black Roadster

Keyed at my wife's work. Medical office underground parking lot.

It aint the color, it's the car. Z's are attention getters, good and bad.

I feel for all of you. Even my stock 2001 silver civic sedan has been keyed. Stupid, immature, bastards. I'd like to key their face with my pocket knife.

Those that have been keyed, were you parked strange in a parking lot, i.e. taking up two spots or sideways? I know people who have been keyed when doing this. Doesn't make it right, but ya gotta take be careful.

Keyed twice!

Chrome silverI was parallel parked like anyone else.
After I noticed the first scratches I was able to polish them out.
I guess they wanted to come back and go deeper. The second time required paint.

I've had other cars keyed before and I've noticed that the key freaks don't pay attention to your car if its dirty.
I hate having a dirty car but if it keeps the freaks away, a little dirt won't hurt.

I don't think it's the color, neither it's type, it's because it's brand new and the 'keyer' is jealous. I had my brand new 4x4, an Isuzu Trooper, not so famous make and model in the US in the 98. It was door jammed after two weeks by an idiot parked (with a two doors camaro) next to mine in a relatively wide parking space. Then was keyed after a month. I believe some people here are not taught well enough on respecting others propertiese, that's the key.

I don't think anyone keys Lemans Sunset because they figure it can't be uglied up any more than it already is.

[I personally like the color, but a lot of people don't.)

Jealousy, Envy, Shame and then Revenge.
They are jealous. Then they envy the Z's. Then they are ashamed that they can't have a Z. Then they try to get revenge on the owner.
They are just a waste of air. What goes aroung comes around.
