That's how it is pronounced. It isn't PORSH. It's Porsh-ah.

Guy’s a TERD...How do TERD's like him get TV shows?

Take off those ridiculous glasses; you’re not an 18-year-old club kid...
BTW – “Steve Parker” do you like MIDGET, Little Person, or TERD!

I agree, that is how the name Porsche is pronounced, with an "ah" at the end.

Some Porsche owners will get real upset if you mis-pronounce the name haha!

It isn't regional. That is someone's proper name. Porche is a surname and you say it Poor-shah.

here is my email to that guy

Steve,

I suggest you research the facts on the Nissan 350z. For 1 it does have a glove box. I am not going to point out every wrong in your ‘review’. But I highly disagree with your statement about it not being on par with the Honda S2000. The 350z has beaten the S2000 in every category, looks, speed, handling, AND price. Please research the cars you review before broadcasting your lies. -Derek

edit:

HOLY ****. in the evo review he says that the evo has 271 hp or whatever, and that thats CLOSE to the 'record' which is currently held by the honda S2000@!#% WHAT THE HECK. The honda makes 240 hp becuase its geared higher, 240 hp and 160 ft/lbs of torqe. I want to stab this guy in his face!

It's not a regional thing at all, it is simply a mispronunciation of a German name. Happens all the time, whether you are from the east or west.

I used to pronounce it with just "PORSH" until I was corrected by my co-workers, and so I have forced myself to add "AH" after years of mispronunciation.

To put this debate to rest, click on the following link (it tells you the correct way to say Porsche, and has a audio clip of a German pronouncing the name )

This bung hole must be getting kick backs from Mitsu.. because he seems to be on their sack rather hard...

Mitsubishi may be one of the smaller Asian car companies doing business in the US, but they have a strong dealer body and a solid parts and service operation. While Mitsubishi is a gigantic corporation which builds everything from oil tankers to bullet trains to locomotives to airplanes to color TVs to cell phones and high-end stereos, with cars as merely one of their divisions, they’ve obviously paid a lot of attention to their automotive products.

in the Eclipse write up....

Give me a break talk about the car instead of riding Mitsu's jock...

Thank god someone said so!

The "eh" at the end of "Porsche" is pretty understated, though.

(BTW, I'm of German descent.)

I just listened to his Cobra review and he says you can spin the tires in all 6 gears?

He must have a hard-on for Brembo's because out of the 3 reviews that I've seen he says the exact same thing. "an italian company that makes brakes for ferrari".
