I just test drive Lancer EVO today and I fell its total faster than Z and 4wd is good too. Please tell me if put Turbo in Z is going to be fun as EVo or even more faster. I have wait so long for the turbo come out for Z? or just get evo instant.

It is marginally faster than the Z, Turbos, by their very nature are unreliable and will wear our engine components sooner, the car looks ugly as sin, it's HUGE, stock it looks like it just came off the set of the fast and the furious, it isn't 4wd, it's AWD, it can't out handle a Z, it won't turn heads or get the attention of the Z.

 

Also, if you Turbo a Z it will blow away a stock Evo.

 

Get the EVO the Z isnt for you.

it feels faster because the suspension isnt as good...

the z is ballenced... you wont feel body roll during acceleration or turning...

that evo was being drifted for the better part of an hour before it finally blew out a tire.

but yeah the evo has less hp with more drivetrain loss(thats inherent to awd) take both from 5-60 and youll win, as a matter of face start at any speed other than a stop and go to any speed as high as 155mph and youll beat the evo, and in the case of 155mph he wont even catch up(I believe they top out in the 140's, cant match the Zs cD)

it does have 4wd so it can do very well on the launch, just like the wrx pulls 14.1s with 227hp, but altho it comes close to what the Z gets with 287hp, its still 227hp, and without the launch you feel every bit of that handicap. same will go for the evo, but on a higher level obviously.

last down side, the stock engine pushing 18psi. the engine is bulletproof tho, and besides the tranny which might not like the launches, the engine will take it; but how much more will it take, already pushing well over a bar of boost.

problem is the comparison is flawed, could say yes the Z will beat the evo in the quarter mile with the supercharger or turbo charger at about 350rwhp; but thats deceptive, thats like saying the Z will beat the wrx in the quarter mile without it, theres more than the drag strip, and everywhere else you will have more than 100extra hp than the evo, even if the drag race doesnt indicate it, the track would.

EVO's are fast and nice. 350Z's (from anything but a stop) are just as fast (or faster if you're going 100+mph) and nicer.

 

EVO can actually take a turn very well and can pull an AMAZING 1.7 Gs on the skidpad. I think we do .098.
That being said many of the above points are valid ones. The Z is a far better looking car and far more well balanced machine. The EVO does FEEL faster but the interior makes ours look like a Benz and the reliability is a major factor as well.

Yes the EVO is fast... but it's fugly compared to the Z...and the interior... YEW~ same goes to STi

Yea well the SRT-4 is faster also. So why not go sell yoru Z for a freaking Neon ? Its not all about speed, there has got to be style too. I dont care if i get my a$$ whooped by a SRT-4 because that guy is going to drive home IN A FREAKING NEON !

 

that info can not be correct, I dont think F1 cars pull 1.7Gs

1G is considered a feat. the Z pulls .88(should be mentioned the G35C pulls .92, so the Z is limited by its tires)

I have heard the evo is a good handler, but theres just no way its 1.7
