You can get rid of your ugly engine cover and show the world how beautiful the VQ35DE is. The Rare JDM harness cover cost about $150, available in chrome or black. The steel wool, wet sandpaper polihing set, aluminum polish, and powerball were all pretty cheap. It takes about six hours to polish the timing chain cover, but I think it's worth it.

What is a small budget? Some people consider smal budget to being $300, others say $3000

My car is currently my DD (with a 240 drift **** on the side) so I don't need baller suspension. I went with tein s-techs and tokico blue shocks combo. This is by far the best thing I've done with the Z...Not that I've done a lot of modding to it... Its great ride and handling (especially considering the stock shocks were blown) and the lowering looks nice even if it could be lower and still be comfy. The Tein springs cost me about $140 from a member (new) and the shocks were about $250 (also new.) Pretty cheap for a nice upgrade!

IMO these are very good suggestions.

On my car I started out with tint which was a couple hundred for limo all around. Then I purchased VHT nightspray and went to town on my tail lights and reflecters..... very cheap (all u need is the spray, sandpaper, and a few hours). Next thing I went with was a deck so I could hook up my ipod and control the bass level.... that was 200. Then I went with 3 JL subs and custom box for 699 and an AMP for 700.

The next things I will be getting will be JWT popcharger, exhaust and tp's and then spacer.

It kind of depends on what your budget is, but getting tint/spraying your lights is pretty cheap and can make your car look alot better..... it's all about what you want and what sounds good to you

Sorry, but I don't know why this thing ever got started at all. Back in the first couple of posts somebody pointed out there is already a huge thread that goes over this same subject...

https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...heap-mods.html

And I'm willing to bet that most of the "cheap" mods are also covered in this thread too....
