Default 370z vs Nismo 350z? Which one is better and why?

So I am really torn between which car to eventually get. I realize the 370z has more power and torque, but the HR can be upgraded to make the same power as the 370z. My question is will a Nismo 350z handle better than a 370z because they run about the same price right now. And I don't want any inputs about the Nismo 370z because that seems like a very obvious choice considering it's wider and has 44hp extra. Thanks guys.

I'd go with the Nismo 350... 1) IMO the body styling looks so much better 2) There is a wider, more proven aftermarket for the HR than there is for the relatively new 370 3) it's Nismo LOL... Although the 370 does have the synchro rev tranny which I would KILL for, but the rest of the car isn't quite as convincing to me. I guess if you have the cash for it and they both cost the same, it's down to personal taste. I'd recommend going out and test driving both of them, get some time behind the wheel, and get a feel for both cars, see which one suits you best.

^ AMEN! haha It's so annoying. HR isn't always faster, my friend has an 08 nismo and was always telling me how much faster it was than my 03 base... until I got a turbo Who's faster now? Lol

I test drove both last year, and I'd do the 370 for sure. And, yeah, if the Nismo 370 was in the conversation, it'd be an obvious choice.

Regarding the aftermarket, the 370's choice for parts is surely going to grow rapidly.

I would personally go with the 370z. Why? Because it's fawking sexy and has more power than the Nismo 350z. Save up and get the Nismo 370z.....obvious choice if it fits into your budget.

This is an obvious choice, the 370Z. But then again, this is a 350Z forum, so your going to get bias answers. A more Lighter, smaller, better interior and overall more refined car. Saying that there are a ton of mods for the 350Z is a valid argument, but a useless one at that come a few years down the road. Top that with the fact that you will turn way more heads with this brand new car compared to a car made in 2002. As for the looks, again, on a 350Z forum, your going to get a biased answer on which one looks "better".

I've driven them both... I like the Nismo (granted, I'm already fond of my 03 so, that may be why I prefer the Nismo over the 370, some might call it: Bias haha )

I would go for the 370z. The HR still does not have a supercharger system and the 370z has two already. The aftermarket parts are only going to grow with the 370z, not so much with the 350z..

Default Long time from now.

Well this won't be happening anytime soon so I am in no rush. I was just wondering if anyone had a video or link which shows if the extra chassis strengthening put it in the same category as the 370z. I guess the win win is the Nismo 370z. No compromises and it has the sexiest OEM wheels I have ever seen on a car. Guess I will just save up for that for a couple of years..lol. Or at least until I get some of this debt off of my hands. I went upside down like $8000 on my 03' 350z.

What about a RSX rimmed-up with a killer system?
