thanks, sorry I'm new at this stuff, apparently the previous owner had it set to run stage 2, I have no way of contacting him to find out all of the mods on the car, I'll check the plugs and set the ecu to stock and see what happens otherwise this is gonna get expensive

big heavy twankies. Before I clicked the thread, I was going to ask if you had 20s. I got around 18 with my stock 18s and get less than 16 with my 2-piece 19s. Or are the Works 19s? Either way, it contributes.

what is Miles Per Gallon? i thought you just put in high test gas and enjoy the ride. MPG is confusing me, do I need to sell my car now? should i be concerned too? will it affect the fun I have in the car?
Oh god, Im going to park her till I figured this MPG thing out...
Stock tune and no worries. Run it from there. Are you looking at your digital mpg calculator or actual millage? one is the truth and the other is just a *educated* guess

That isn't normal, except on the track. The Accessport (AP) Stage 2 map should bias you to too lean (ie. better MPG but threat of excessive pinging) with the intakes from what I understand. Best to go back to the stock map for now to be safe.
Since you have an AP, pull up the Air Fuel Ratio display and see what typical values you get for idle, cruise, and wide open throttle (WOT). You can log it as well and download to a spreadsheet. Report back here with the results. Should be in the close to 11-14.5 except when letting off the throttle quickly, then it might jump to 19-20 briefly.
Any chance the previous owner had a supercharger, turbo, or running E85? If so there may be larger injectors that are skewing things too rich.

I get 6-8mph at WOT. Around town my 03' gets 15mpg easy, and typically averages 22-25mpg over an entire tank. Make sure you are doing a large enough sample, and filling the tank accurately for the math to work out.
OR, are you using the real-time mpg calculator that's inside the car?
