Default New Owner? Maybe Not :(

So I bought my 2003 Base about three days ago and got it registered on Friday. Two days later (Today), I walk out from work. I work at Best Buy and was parked in the spaces far from the building where few cars park (Mostly employees).

Anyway, I walk outside today to see my car up on the curb on the mulch island that I was facing. F@#K! So basically some piece of **** (who I still have not talked to) managed to wreck my car in a vacant lot and throw it five feet forward up a curb? I mean I thought the Z would bring some "haters" but this wasn't exactly what I had in mind.

Well from my understanding they did call the police (There was a police report filed) however I was flipping out, so I may have misunderstood the cop over the phone. So hopefully tomorrow this will all get sorted out and I can get my baby back asap.

Well take a look. And yes this happened in a parking lot... I didn't put up a picture but the front bumper was cracked and dented. Only bright side is that the bumpers weren't in great shape paint-wise so hopefully she'll look brand new.

Owww that one hurt... And here i was crying over the little dent someone put on my car... I'd be so pissed if someone did that to my Z... I would cry for reals, out of anger of course >.>

Maybe its time to upgrade to a new aftermarket body kit! Hope you have insurance

Now that flat out sucks dude... there are some stupid a$$ people out there.

Hopefully she gets fixed asap - maybe insurance will be generous enough and you can go aftermarket.

choose your body shop wisely, so you dont have a ppw car that has 3 different shades of white. : P

my brother got in an accident and this shop made his ugly altima look brand new. my fingers are crossed.

Anybody know the difference in cost between stock front and rear bumper and a nismo front and rear bumper?? think it would look bad without the side skirts? I'd do it down the road but I just don't have the money right now. But if the cost of the bumpers is close, i might as well get nismo instead

No idea, but if you need a body shop, my family has probably contributed close to $15,000 dollars to the only body shop guy we use in Hillsborough. Great guy, even better work. Owner operated, 1 man shop with quick turn around time.

Name is Haleys Autobody in Hillsborough, NJ. Phone number 908 369 4222. Owners name is George. If you havent decided on your shop yet, i would rate him a 10 out of 10. Tell him Ross Martin sent you too.

Right now I'm already going to Allentown Auto Body. I think I'm going to stay stock for now for financial reasons, but down the road I think I'm going for some type of body work so I'll definitely keep them in mind

That's unfortunate but it is the perfect opportunity to get led tails and your trunk shaved (emblems and wiper).

Just an update. At the shop now and should be repaired in two weeks. Didn't end up getting any modifications. More focused on being able to drive it right now than going through the added stress of ordering parts and paying the difference.

And I'll be posting pictures once i take her to the car wash to get waxed

That was quite a hit. Besides the body damage you may also received damage to the transmission and suspension. Be sure to have that checked. Good luck with the repairs.

Well after three long weeks, I got her back. They did an amazing job (allentown auto body) ended up being 6100 dollars in damage because they replaced the front and rear panel as well. But it looks brand new. I think the paint matches up perfect. Tell me what you think.
