is it just extra horse power? what year should I look into, what year should I avoid? and why?

06's are quick. 07's are the fastest. 03-05's are boring. 06+ have bi-xenon, 07's have better interior quality than 06 but 06 have better interiors than 03-05. 06+ have the best transmissions. 06+ have better brakes (non brembo). 06+ have 18" wheels standard, 06+ have larger tires standard, 06+ have better intake design than 03-05. 07+ have better engine than 03-05, and 06. 06+ make power past 6600rpm. 07+ make power past 7000k rpm. 03-05 are the lightest and are slightly shorter. 06+ are still under factory powertrain warranty if they have under 50k miles. 06's are the cheaper option. Some 06's feature a oil consumption option. Mine didn't but it did come with the bad 6th gear syncro which was replaced under warranty.

Pretty much you decide.

how is '03-'05 boring? '06 biased much?

avoid 06 they are the worst.. other than that differences are . interior and bumper , hood and motor. headlights taillights hood.. thats about all i can think of.

I don't know what you mean actually. Wheels? LED Tails and headlights? change of center console?A rubber piece on door panels? Rev up?

All those differences are solvable at a decent price. So I don't know where you get "06 is quick, but 03-05 is boring."
