Does insurance even go up significantly if a car like the 350z is being placed on the teenagers parents insurance? It should be cheaper I would think.
It would take a dumb a$$ parent to include their kid with a 350z on their insurance. Even though I STILL live under my parents roof they have never put me on their insurance. There are still liability issues. But yes it would be cheaper than getting your own policy

any male under 25 is in with the reckless drivers so it is expensive. A 350Z is considered a performance car, so we all pay more even if we are over 25.
