What do you consider balance, though? Spending even 25% of your total income on a vehicle is incredibly stupid. Best to save the money...

You must work a lot of overtime along with going to school full time at 12/hr to be making 2 payments, paying insurance at your age, and modding the Z.

12/hr plus a 400 bonus every month if i hit my sales target. what cost the most is the car monthly payments and insurance. the bike is only 200 dollars a month and no insurance. u don't need to in FL. i still have some left for school which hasn't produce me money yet, but it will in the future. and yes i live with mommy and daddy. i don't have as many expenses. but hey are kicking me out in aug @#!^$#^!

I'm 17 and my 350z is my second car I've owned and I've paid for every car so far.. I had an 03 Tiburon that I bought off of eBay for 9k which took me two years to save up for.. I payed for insurance mods and gas.. I ended up flipping it on a back road.. Got 8.5k off of insurance and then got a job as a painter and I get payed 60 an hour.. It took me a couple months of working and then I afforded to buy my 04 z for 13k and I also afford my own gas, insurance, and mods.. But then again I don't have to pay taxes or pay house fees or anything... But still, I payed for all my car payments because my parents won't lone me any money... Is there anything wrong with that?

Seriously, I'd love to stop going to school to get my Mechanical Engineering BS and start painting for $60/hour. Looking at 6 figure incomes when working full time.

Lol at 60 an hour painting. Maybe you won't flip your Z on a backroad.

Its "loan" not "lone" BTW

What kinds of mods do you put on a Tiburon, stickers and fuzzy dice?

Little piece of trivia... Did you know that no parent has ever given a lone to their child?

If I made $60 an hour at your age, my parents would have been asking me for a lone. BTW, what do you paint? Picasso's?

I really honestly do get 60 an hour but its only about 8-10 hours a week on a good week.. I also do pen and ink sketches of peoples houses and can make up to 200 dollars off of on sketch.. Who in their right mind would pay some kid $60 an hour to paint houses when you can go to Home Depot and find a Messican in the parking lot who will paint your whole house for a bag of chips and salsa?

Yeah, I thought $60 an hour was b.s. especially in today's economy.
