Default I hope the Z has one of these...

rpgonzalez has a rental car right now because he's redoing his clutch...

The Daewoo he rented has this sweet-*** "Power" switch that kicks in a mean dose of nothing when depressed, check it out:

Damn it! I didn't see that option when I ordered. Now I know where those extra ponies are

That is a trip.

A few years ago, a friend of mine bought a used Accord. He told me that the sport switch for the suspension also added a few more horsepower to the engine at the same time.

To top that off, another friend of mine just bought a Turbo Jetta which he claimed was doing 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.

I almost couldn't hold the laughter in.

brings back memories of my BMW. You see every time I had to leave it for service (which was a lot) they gave me one of these crappy cars as a loaner car. "Gee, thanks I guess. Oh and it has a power button? cool."

Yeah, sounds like what happened to Rob here.

I swear this thing must easily get the 0-60 from 12.4 to 12.3 seconds!

Kinda reminds me of the "Turbo" buttons they used to put on PCs. Ah, those were the days. One click of the old turbo button, and you went from one frame a second in Zork to at least TWO frames a second...

(What the hell was the point of those buttons? "No, wait. I kinda feel like taking it a bit slower today on the computer. No turbo mode for me today...")

So they can try and keep up with our Zs

And of course it will be hand installed to keep with the spirit of the S2000
Ohhh, that's funny!

Wink

Maybe its the remote power switch to the AC. By turning it off, you get a jolt of extra ponies.

When you press the button, you are supposed to say "Go Go gadget!"

LOL! I had forgotten all about those. Did anyone ever see one of these turbo buttons not depressed?

Yeah, I had this one game called "The Bard's Tale" way back 10 years ago. It was the only computer game I've really gotten into, besides some of the early Nintendo classics.

Anyways, it worked great on the 386, but as time went on and systems got faster, it ran so incredibly fast, that pushing the arrow buttons to "walk around town" looked like you were driving an indy car through the streets.

So I would actually pop the button out while playing it. It helped for a while, but the thing's REALLY unplayable on GHz chips nowadays.
