Default Attention Performance Nissan Boys (Jasson/Jeff)

Can ou guys look into the revised suspension thing for us on the board. Find out the new parts numbers and what parts to order (if you can at this point). Or at least find out when we can order them. I think the new suspension with the NISMO sways would be akiller combo for people who cant have the drop and/or slight increase in ride hardness the full NISMO setup gives.

Sorry about the delayed response but we have been swamped today.

The part number for the S-Tune Suspension is Exactly the same as the part number that was ordered before they revised it for use with VDC Z's.

5300S-RSZ30-US

Now, I do not want to sound like I am trying to take away business from any other vendors but NISMO is having issues with gray market product coming into the states.

How they are going to prevent people from putting on a "gray market" S-Tune suspension is this;

To place an order for a S-Tune suspension from NISMO the dealer must supply a VIN number. When that VIN number is brought up on a Dealers computer when the car is brought in for warrantee work it will say there is a S-Tune suspension installed on that VIN. If a dealer finds that you have a S-Tune and you are in for a suspension related problem they WILL NOT warranty your repair or parts unless that S-Tune is attached to your VIN! No longer does S-Tune mean the part is covered by dealer warranty. I only know for a fact that this applies to the S-Tune, it may start for other parts.

We are currently selling the S-Tune Suspension for $1400 .

The NISMO Sway Bars have stayed the same as well. They can now be used with VDC equipped vehicles.

We are currently selling the Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit for $385

Please feel free to PM or Email me with any other questions you have on these products or NISMO / JWT / K&N / JIC

Thank you

Also. If we order S tune parts from performance. Will you need our vin numbers or would the local dealership have to get our vin attached to the S tune part.

I have not heard of the 2004 suspension being the "Nismo" suspension.

Gray market parts are in this case are sold by Non-Nismo Distributers who import their parts from Japan. I am not sure how it works with vendor's who wholesale NISMO parts through Nissan dealers. And I don't believe there are that many of those.

We have the S-Tune suspensions in stock. We can ship it uppon received payment and your VIN. We will then make sure everything is set properly for the suspension to be attached to your VIN.

What a crock, I would understand if people where making copies and selling them as Nismo but when the parts being imported are the same ones being sold as US Nismo???? this just smells as a way to force people to pay more, why can't US Nismo sell the parts at the same price or less, the small companies importing parts must have higher shipping costs than Nismo since they are using the Nissan distribution system.

The only way you can buy the US Nimso for the same price is to get them from you guys and your discount no one else is selling Nismo at the discounted prices performance is.

Yea, this whole vin number thing took us off guard. As for those of you who have purchased from us, please PM me with your invoice numbers so I can notify Nissan of your vin. I will also be going through my records as I've only sold a couple dozen sets and contact you. Jeff

O. Forgot. Is this just for suspension. Or would Nissan need to know your vin for all S-Tune parts ordered from dealerships. For example exhaust.

Jason and Jeff...

It seems there are 2 questions here... and are further echoed in the "brakes/suspension" forum by the post from ZZtopp.....

1/ Is the S-tune suspension the same for VTC equipped and non-equipped Z's ? IF not... what is the difference ?

2/ Brad started this thread and asked about... the new Euro-tuned suspension (suspension was developed by Nissan-Europe) that is supposedely going into all 2004 Z's.

What is the difference and part numbers .... ??

3/ One more question from me... the track Brembo brakes... here are the changes for the 2004 models as posted by ZZtopp in the "brakes/suspension" forum...

"The Brembo brake system gets tandem brake master cylinders replacing the earlier model?fs single cylinder."

Why is this change being made ? Can you give us some information ?

thanks !

if there is a part nuaber we can get it.

i dont know about the "euro" suspension. if it just came out i cant look it up in our parts system yet.

the suspension for both vdc and non vdc is exactly the same. same part number for the s-tune. only differance now is that they have tested it on a vdc car.

ill try to find more info about the rest on monday when im in the office.

another cellphone post :-)

OK, Now that I am on a real computer and not on my cell phone.

The G35 suspension would give the Z a slight lift. When they put the Z Stock suspension on their car they get a stiffer ride and a drop. The G35S guys get almost an Inch drop.

I am going to see what I can find out with the part numbers of the new suspension etc...

Do you also need vin numbers for the sale of the NISMO sways? (I bought mine from you around June/July.)
