The day I sell my Z is the day I get a vasectomy.

EDIT: When I wrote that, I laughed. When the wife read it, she serious'd......

In March of 2010, I sold my '03 Z for a murano because my father passed away and to help out my family, I needed something more practical.

Additionally, I was going to get married within a year or so and it wouldve been a good start up vehicle. Every mother)(*&#(*&(*&g day, I missed my 350.

Last week, I just purchased an '07 San Marino 350z roadster because my mother purchased a Q7 (a really sweet truck) and my gf of 3 years and I broke up last June.

When I sat in my new Z, I never felt more at home. I am so happy to be driving a real car again. I feel like a winner again. Its the best thing I ever did.

So long story short OP - stay strong during this tough time bro and know that better days are ahead! Now, go trade in that MS3 and start the next chapter

How could you fall for that car? I test drove one just the other day and it was terrible. Suspension too stiff (is that possible for me to say), Too much torque steer, powerband falls off way too early. Mild boost lag was the only thing that made it fun. Lastly, the seats were very uncomfortable. Oh and that front end is hideous. The list goes on and on. But good luck on getting back into a Z.

I had a '04 350z Track that I always regretted selling.
I was Z-less for over 5 years.

Every time I saw a Z I was like "Damn"

Well...
I recently traded my '07 Civic Si for a new 370z.

All I can say is... Do it if you can.

My Ex-Wife called the Police and reported my Z stolen... Car loan under my name insurance under hers. I sold the car the next day and picked up a 2010 370Z. Needles to say she wasnt to happy when she saw my bright red new Z, when I went to pick up my son. Ahhhh

OP: Buy a new Z and restore your dignity. Personally, I'll only trade/sell my Z for a newer Z. If I had to get some lousy *** truck or crossover?

The suspension is softer then the Z. Also the stock ECU closes the throttle plate at 5500 rpms, so thats why it falls on its face, BUT my Cobb AP took care of it. The seats feel fine to me, I just dont like sitting up so high. while in the Z you sit really low. Bolt-on for bolt-on this car will pull a HR from a roll. Not a dig, no traction 1st or 2nd. It dyno'd 325tq to the wheels. To much tq for FWD. I'd rather drive a slower Z.

It might be a while before I get into a Z now. These people got me stuck on a 370z. Maybe I can save some $$ for a down payment on a low mileage used one.

But yea the days will get better in time.

what color is your MS3? I've think i've seen you at GB3 a few times. Haven't seen you since the first couple of meets a few years ago so I could be wrong.

lots of Z's for sale locally, you should check them out. I still have mine, even though I haven't been driving it much lately.

yeah, i almost made that mistake. or was it??? I was going to trade it in for a 4 door, awd turbo something. RS6. S4. STI. EVO etc. For the lady and the little one. Hell, Id still do it if he were my child, and how i wish he were. anyways, yeah. so obviously we're not together, and i still get my Z. As beautiful and amzing as true love (on my side anyways) is, material possessions wont leave you, or park themselves in another garage. lol f*cking b*tch.

Let us know when your in a new Z man. We're excited for you.

It's red. Must be another owner since I dont go to GB3. Yea its been a while. The only person I talk to and hang with is Matt. I think I seen you driving down shaw a while back. You had the nismo wheels on.

I'm not in a good position right now to buy one. I owe to much right now on my car. I don't know another option to get out of this car

Recently, I did a temporary car swap with a friend. We were curious about each others' cars, so lately, I've been driving around in an 04 Caddy CTSV. It's insanely fast, has incredibly competent handling, even for a 4000lb car. The brakes are damn near perfect in stopping power and feedback, and it's extremely quiet and comfortable. I can even take it snowboarding because the rear seatbacks flip down, but it hasn't completely stolen my heart from my Z yet!

A few years ago, one of my friends totaled his 05 Z, bought an 06, which he lemoned after it suffered oil consumption and two engine replacements. Bought a 328i. It's cheaper to insure, more practical and comfortable in every way imaginable, but he misses the Z and implored me never to sell mine.
