Default Has liquid aluminum always been available?

Nissan USA has "Liquid Aluminum" listed as a color option for the Touring model. I noticed the dealers in the MD area just updated their inventory online, and happened to see this color. Not sure if its always been available, as I'm looking for a Performance model.

Looks to be exclusive to the Touring model too.

oh and btw, it's nothing spectacular... i've seen it in person... it's NOTHING like the chrome-like finish on the '02 debut car... it's really just a slightly darker, slightly more metallic silver

meh

Slightly darker? Are you talking about the same liquid aluminum that is on the Z? LA is actually lighter than CS, nothing like the showcar finish that cost thousands of dollars though.

LA is available, for an extra $1100, across the Zzzz model line. It replaced the Brickyard as an 04 color.

Replaced brickyard, thanks God (jk).

They should have come out with some kind of Navy Pearl instead of another silver.

the factory that the car is produced in doesn't make the cars that are produced with yellow as an option (the xterra and the sentra)
This is what a Nissan sales rep told me when i spoke to him a few months back.. i heard that they may concider it for 05, but I wouldn't bet on it, i think it makes the car look cheep... just my two cents
