resonance
Occasionally, I will hear a very annoying resonance that seems to be coming from the structure of the car itself. It is really loud and actually hurts my ears. It goes away when I speed up or slow down and is kind of rare. This is definitely not the radio. Anybody else noticed this?

I was riding in a Honda Pilot very recently with a female friend of mine who is thinking about buying one. On the freeway, rolling the rear windows all the way down produced the same resonance. Every car has a resonant frequency for the cabin; it's just that the certain combinations of factors which cause it are usually pretty rare.
