Smile A 350z wife speaks out

It is eight o'clock in the morning and look how many of you guys are on this site. How are you going to pay for your car if you spend every waking moment on here? Get back to work! (ha ha)

My husband got his 350z a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be happier for him! I will take the credit for his having it, because it was me that encouraged him to get the car of his dreams. Little did I know what I was getting myself into! For the last six months all I have heard is talk about this car. Now that in itself wouldn't be so bad but, I have also listened to all of your (350Z Club) talk about this car too! I feel like I know all of you. I can probably tell you what color and model car you have (or will have) just from your name. I have become an expert (whether I wanted to or not) on this car. Since he found this group of like-minded individuals he has never been the same. My heart goes out to all of your wives, partners or significant others. I think it is only fair that we have a chance to share our thoughts. They can post to this thread or feel free to email me directly at kzamara@hotmail.com I would really love to hear what they all have to say. Afterall, we have a lot in common. OK, I will sign off, and by the way, can you return my husband to me when your done with him?

Any more like you back home??? j/k
I've yet to find a woman that can understand my/our obsession with cars. The current one just looks at me in a very perplexed way when I talk to my friends about cars. She doesn't get why some cars have a cult following. To her, it's just transportation. To quote her: "it gets you from point A to point B". Ah yes, but it's all in HOW it gets you there. Not too many cars can pretty much guarantee a cartoon-like grin at the end of your trip!!

Best of luck to you guys and enjoy the Z!!!!

maybe we should have a seperate forum section for 350Z Owner's SO's

Significant Others would have to be restricted from the classifieds section though, just incase any of you non-single owners start any "creative financing" for 350z mods (ie. selling appliances and old father's day gifts)

I'm still just gonna go look for that other 10% now where did jewelZ run off too.

btw- thanks for posting, a different perspective is always cool.

A seperate forum for 350Z Owner's wives, girlfriends, etc, probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Over at www.v8Buick.com, they have a forum called the "Buick Widows Support Group". It is actually a fairly active forum, maybe this site needs a place for 350Z widows too.

What a great wife you are!!! Always helps when the spouse can share in the excitement. Remember that what goes around comes around so I'm sure you are in store for something really good.

I will take this opportunity to thank my wife for putting up with so much of my crap over the years. I am certifiable and have bought a new car every year for the past 4 years and as many motorcycles. She is great and even brought home a few kill stories when I had a Vette a year or so ago. I hope your husband knows what he has cause apparently they don't make a lot of you.

The good thing about owning a Z and being single: no wife to anger when you're spending too much time with the car.

The bad thing: no wife.

Oh, but I do have something good. I now have the mercedes slk all to myself! I even have a personal license plate that ensures that my husband will not drive it. Now I have my own automatic convertable sports car and he has the standard sports car of his dreams. Oh yeh, I have a great husband too! Life is pretty good.

There is a reason why you are on your second alt-nic.

How is the car? You need to drop me a line and let me know the do's and don'ts of 350Z ownership.

Just one of the perks and benefits... Ur garage will remain clean and filth free as long as the Z remains
