Default cruise control on a base model

so after almost a year of working on getting cruise control working on my z.
I finally did it!!!!!!!!!!! no one knows how happy i was when i did it, anyways
there is 1 thing tho the cruise light on the cluster doesnt light up. people were saying that there is a seperate computer that i could reprogram to get the light to work and its an led not a bulb from what people are telling me. i still have to crack it open and see what i can do.

but the main point is that it is all oem switches and sensors with no after market parts. it works exactly like the cruise control that comes in the upper model z's

and so far i havent seen anyone that did it this way

i will work on a diy with all the part #'s and also this will be a lot easier if you have uprev. if not it will just cost just a bit more.

i am thinking about selling a kit that would have all the sensors and switches necissary to do this.
but i need to know if any of you would would buy it.

Yet another "cruise control on a Base" that has gone nowhere.....call me a cynic but I don't believe any of them other than, maybe, the kit from the UK that goes for $700 or more.

Agree. From what I understand it's near impossible or not worth the money.
I'd figure that a used Enthusiast isn't that much more then base model..if it's that important.

OEM is drive by wire, so how does this work?

There IS no answer. I just can't figure out why folks start these threads...especially this one with absolutely no details and a promise of a DIY and then - poof! - the OP is gone for good.
