OP was OBVIOUSLY suggesting wins/losses at the track, and to whom you've won/lost.

I'm a better driver than my mods 
I've passed lots of faster cars on track days as a result of good instruction and driving habits. I've seen lots of fast cars in which the driver didn't follow a good line and as a result had to slow for turns allowing me to catch up to them. It's more about how you drive than how much HP you have. That's why we sing the mantra "seat time".

I have beaten an open-wheeled race car down the famous corkscrew at Laguna Seca:
I have lost to a 72' Datsun 240Z and a supercharged C5 Corvette.

on the AutoX course (cant afford an actual track day 
) i've beaten my friends pretty stock 6.0 GTO. But consistantly lose to my other friends modded 2005 mustang GT. he has full FR500 susp, swapped the FR progressive springs for HR linear rates, removed interior for two corbeaus, Hurst short shifter, FR intake, long tube headers, and he's running 295 nito NT05s at all 4 corners, with a decent tune. like 370hp.
I have a stillen y-pipe and a megan drift spec single. 255/45 R tires and 235/50 F.
