If you're really trying to slide your Z and can't afford track time. Stick to empty parking lots... particularly an industrial/business area. I tell people who are just getting into it to stay off the streets (intersections, closed turns, etc.). Reason being, if/when u crash, it makes the rest of us look bad.
Dont get me wrong, I slide on the streets myself. Only reason is because I kno what I am doing and the closest track to me is WSIR which is a good 3hr drive. I am not saying that I won't crash, cause I already have.
Keep in mind, u sliding on the streets, anything can happen. It is not a controlled track.
