Minus what has been said, I side with you. The truck could have at least pulled up more and show a little respect for the other parking places. Also I would have also been a little perturb at such rude parking. Nobody understands till it happens to them. A nice note is the way to go though, this way the driver will remember next time.

I have this parking situation where i work. And yes problems with an a**h*** with
a truck nosey bastard. Try to give yourself an inch or two more from the curb but
don't park all the way back so you can manuever out.
