It's about 18 months old now...but when I got it, it was the best rated camera as far as picture quality from various reviews. It's a 2 megapixel.

I got a Kodak DC215, your picture clarity beat it by a mile.

I have to work on it, I just got it and it should have been as clear or better since it is a 4 megapixel camera, this is the first real test for it, maybe the UV filter hurt more than helped, I'll just have to keep taking pictures of my car I guess.

If everything else equal, your camera should beat Mike's since your resolution is double his. What were your picture quality and resolution settings when you took these picture. Try different setting in a similar bright and sunny day for your practice.

...I had the opportunity to use westpak's camera to snap some pictures. Having taken many night shots, (without flash) I knew I had to be super still with the camer; so I did some nifty stillness so lets see when he posts the pictures.
I posted the pictures in the original Tower Shops thread.
As for the quality I think it is the camera setting, because it has 4 settings for size of the picture 2272x1704, 1600x1200, 1024x768 and 640x480 and the pictures from the meet that are on this thread were taken at the higher setting 2272x1704 which I had to resize way down to post here and I think that is where I lost some of the quality, the pictures from tonight on the other post all except the ones at night taken by mike were at 1024x768 requiring less resizing and the quality is better, the ones mike took were at 2272x1704 setting and I had to resize losing some clarity. I am going to try it at 640x480 which should not requiring resizing.

Well, I am not going there. You and westpak can duke it out. Both of your camera beat mine by a mile any way.

Not duking out at all; actually..I was quite impressed with the level of sophistication in his digital camera...I can't believe they have advanced so much in so little time.
