Default SB 04 Enthusiast ends 2-year quest for a new car

It took me 2 years, after countless numbers of setbacks, before taking delivery with my 04 super black Enthusiast. You bet I'm happy with a big sigh of relief. I'm really tired but it is a happy ending. She had 7 miles on her right off the truck.

Options include: AKP, trnk & flr mats, & cargo pckg.

It's funny how prior to the purchase I planned on getting Tein Flex and 19" rims on the same day but somehow I changed my mind. I intend to pay it off first before pouring any dime to any sorts of mod; Any diagnosis to this syndrome considering both my Integra LS and GSR were immediately fixed up after the purchase?

When is the next meet?

May I ask what you paid for it. I have my eye on a white one that they are asking ~29K. It has some "take it or leave it" dealer options like "sealant protection" which I call "dealer profit protection". Another interesting note- on all Z's on the lot they have added cold air intake and exhaust package that they claim gets HP from 287 to 315. This is another $600 option but I think it might be a ruse. I might go back this weekend and hover around get more info and see what they will come down to.

$28,000.00 + TTL with $29,210 MSRP

The price was pre-negotiated and agreed upon in writing prior to my arival at the dealership. However, one thing that I overlooked at is the pre-approved finance rate. Well, it is understandable that Christmas is around the corner and that everyone needs money so the dealership made me wait for more than 2 hours around the round table in hopes of wearing me down to say yes to 9% APR. I said .

Another hour and a half later, three attempts to walk out, and three managers, they gave up and I compromised to have the interest bump up to my expected 3.89% up to the agreed 4.24%.

It has some "take it or leave it"
In that case I would leave it. Usually, buyers of "sealant protection" would also buy invisible condom for impotent people only.

If money is the issue then I suggest that you hold off and let the folks w/ deeper pockets get first dibs on the "invisible condom" options. Your turn will come. Otherwise, don't punish yourself by waiting. Go ahead and indulge.

$600 exhaust and CAI with 28 crank hp gain sounds fishy to me. I don't even want to get into details on this.

Y dont u try a local bank or credit union. Use motortrend.com and theres a section to search for best finance rates around ur area.
I got my financing thru my credit union for 3.9 %. I have never ownded/bought a car/house and only 1 cc.

if u get the car, just get it stock,,,ull get to learn/enjoy the car first and then mod.

Congrats on finally getting your Z! I still have a couple of months to go before my Z arrives. Which dealer did you get it from?

Thanks guys.

6 MT bought at Douglas Nissan of Orange.

0.9% APR hmm.... did that come out from a dealer's lips? Need I say more? Ok, if it is true then expect some sort of a catch i.e. $500 leather floor mats. Good luck and brace yourself for a reality check.
