is this true:

g35 coupe is to g35 sedan as 350Z is to Maxima

and why/why not

the correct notation is g35c:g35s :: 350z:maxima (ive taken way too many standardized exams)


and no, that relationship isnt correct (to me).

No that is not correct, the Maxima is FRONT wheel drive, the g35 coupe, sedan and the 350z are REAR wheel drive

Not sure were your getting at with this question but the 350z and Maxima are completely different cars. rwd v fwd..2 seater v 5 seater...etc.... The Z and both G35s share the same platform (FM Midship) but modified slightly to reflect different characteristics in its respected car category.

The G35 sedan looks more like the Altima to me.

Well it is if you stick to the same family if you do Infiniti and have a coupe and want a 4 door you would look to the G35S most likely. At Nissan If you have a coupe and need a 4 door you would look toward Maxima most likely(Z has alaways been Nissans Flagship sports car and the Maxima of the sedans here in the states), not taking into account the FWD/RWD thing.
