Default Going to Japan in a month

I'll be in Japan for a couple of days next month. I want to pick up some stuff for my Z. I'm thinking the 380Z RS gas pedal. anyone with experience know where i should go look? or is it even worth the time for the price?

Nissan dealers will either carry them or be able to locally obtain it quickly.

Are you talking about the 380RS gas pedal?

You can order them at the dealer directly. Hopefully, you have someone that speaks Japanese with you or you can speak it yourself. The 380RS gas pedal really makes a huge difference when heel-toe is needed

Where are you going?

I'm going to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe. 4 1/2 day trip. Yes those are the pedals i'm referring to, and yes I'm getting them for heel-toe purposes.

Well, I wouldn't go to Japan at this point, but the good news is that you are west and south of most of the fallout. That said, if the pedals are for a functional purpose then get them.

I'm willing to bet that 80% of the people that buy the pedal don't use it for it's purpose, and rather have it for "JDM cool factor" or to look like a tracker.

Surely, you don't use heel-toe on the streets... because you'd look like a dumbass.

Note: Heel-toe is to allow heavy braking and rev matching simultaneously. Useless on public roads. My stock GTR gas pedal was shaped exactly the same, and it got annoying as sh*t.

You can get the 380RS pedal in the states if I recall correctly.

To be honest, heel and toe feels quite natural in the 350Z... I do them on the streets from time to time but half the time, I don't need to downshift to get through a turn at a decent pace.

That pedal probably isn't going to be much cheaper in JPN than here from one of the vendors, especially with the exchange rates right now. They won't have the pedal but you should also check out UpGarage too if there's one near where your staying.

WTF. Are you serious? That is dumbfounding. Do you speak Nihon-go and/or take someone that spoke the language during your parts query?

Man, last time I was out that way, the exchange rate was Y260.

Happens all the time in Japo land, americans are not part of the Japo master race, so they hate us. Don't get into a car accident, you can get rear ended by a drunk and you will be at fault because "We don't want you here"

All in all, out of 2 years of living there I only got the crossed arms telling me to leave twice. Most of the Japanese people are really nice, helpfull and polite.

Then there were other problems with the Okinawans where i lived. Okinawans are not Japanese, and hate the Japanese, and dislike us because we gave their country back to the Japanese after WW2
