I was driving on I-16 last night coming home from visiting the family in Hilton Head. It was dark out and I was cruising along at about 80mph when out of nowhere I see a black animal come nto view f my lights. It was too late....I clocked his *****. I pulled over at the next exit and my bumper is cracked from the bottom to all the way to the headlight on the drivers side. It cracked my clear sidemarker and it completely tore out the wheel well trim from under the bumper to the top of the wheel. My sister was sleeping when it happened and it woke her up fast. I didnt see any blood or fur and I dont think I ran over the animal, just knocked it out to the side. Needless to say, there goes all the christmas money that I received. Now I need some good body shops in the atlanta area. How much is a factory bumper?

How much will is cost to paint beause u can get a new bumper for 238 and paint it probably for the same price as the one for sale for 300+ shipping

 

A raccoon did damage to my bumper too. Also broke the washer resevoir tank. A new OEM bumper is $172. Whats a good price to paint it??

I got a shitty paint job on the rear bumper for 200$. the paint looks like *** IMO. when it had to be repainted I hoped Id atleast have some flawless paint. no such luck. Id imagine the front would run more to paint cause its a bit more complicated.

if you do find a really good paint place let me know; Im trying to find one.

 

No I didnt stop to see what it was. I hit it pretty solid at 80mph so I doubt it was still alive. I had a car full of stuff so what am I supposed to do if it is still alive? I will let you know if I find a good shop Ares.
