I beat the boss guy much, much easier then some of the other races.

 

In europe, Mazda Miata = MX5

In Japan, Miata = Eunos

 

... na - I drive unrealistic on that game. He was EASY to beat. Kinda disappointed with the game honestly. Once you beat the underground, you can't go back and smack around da' n00bs.

Oh well, guess it's time to play online.

ya i was surprised about the miata also. The game is good the first time around, but the cars are tuned unrealistically, especially the miata. But i guess it's a good game to play. After you beat the Underground Mode, go into quick race, and pick a mean drift car, and drift the hell outta yourself in one of the simple courses, and get lots of style points. you can eventually unlock Eddy's Skyline (the one that you see in the main menu when you start the game). Unfortunately after you get Eddy's Skyline, you can no longer get ne more cars. One question for the ppl who play the game on here... what is your best score for a single drift (not the whole course, just one single individual drift)? i think i managed to get 60000 as my best for a single drift (thas about two laps around drift course 2 continuously).

 

Damn! 60000! I suck at drifting. I get like 4k at the most. What is the secret?

 

60k? Daaamn. I get about 20-25k at the most.

The 350z is too unstable, but if you are good, you can win too much points.

If you drift near the walls (in the zone with white lines) you win more and more points. But its more possible to crash

I played some more last night and ended up getting new highest drift score... 89000. I used the S2000 to drift (w/ level 3 everything) when i got the 60000, and i got the 89000 w/ the
RX-7. I dont know if it was tuned to the max... i might have detuned it to level 3 everything except engine and exhaust, and turbo, which were both level two. The reason I got such a high score is because i did all this on drift course 2. There's no real secret, you just have to have a car that you like, personally i use either the S2000 or the RX-7, and you just have to keep at it. after playing Underground mode twice, ive drifted so much, and you just keep getting better. when i started out i could only drift about 4-10 k but eventually it just got better, just keep at it . Another reason i may be scoring better is because i have the game on Gamecube, not for PC. Im not sure which is harder, but it may make a difference . Ill try and post pictures of my drift score, but i have to wait for my friend to bring over his cell phone camera, and ill just take the picture off of my big screen.

p.s.- if you are going to drift w/ the 350Z id probably detune it a lil bit because it has so much power that you cant exit the drift w/o spinning out. try detuning the engine and exhaust to level two, and see if that helps.

Almost beat the game. Last car I unlocked was the S2000. How far am I away from the 350z? So far my fav. car in here is the RSX.

Oh yeah, anyone try purging yet? Just hit the nitrous button at the start of a race. Dont know if im a little behind but its new to me.

Exactly how do you play online? Do you have to pay?
