maybe nissan will make a T-top, or a targa, cause if they did i would buy a Z in a heart beat....
For '05 colors... I don't really care 'cause I own the best and rarest color of all already... BRICKYARD, Baby!!!!
Though, if I had to vote for a new color, I'd pick something they haven't done already... maybe a bright yellow or deep metallic green.

I guess speculation is starting early this year
I have the 350Z book by John Lamn called Nissan 350z Behind the Resurrection of a legend. (awsome book by the way, def would recommend it) it was Copyrighted in 2003, and written around the time the roadster was first announced
but on page 47 he talks about the Z's future....
"Makes you wonder about the future of the 250z, and naturally Joel Weeks won't disucss what's coming, but there is this reality: "even with a great design like we have, we think we're looking at a peak for this sports car design... Maybe two to three years of great sales, but being honest from a business standpoint, letting the volume drop off a bit towards the end until we refresh the car again. We are planning a good mid-lifecycle; throw in some horsepower, whether its normally aspirated increase or even some Forced Induction. But we are making sure-looking at the past, what Porsche and BMW have done with their sports cars-that we keep them fresh to try as best as possible to keep the volume up"
For those who don't know who Joel Weeks is, he is the guy who heads product planning for the Z car... he has a 15 year tenour with Nissan.... not really a definitive look at 05 but I thought it was interesting to see what someone inside nissan says...
unfortunalty we will have another 4-6 months before Nissan releases any real ideas on what they are doing... if i remember it wasn't until may-ish of last year that the 04 designs came out.
just adding my 2 cents..

I heard somewhere talk about doing away with LeMans. I have no clue why considering the concept was in that color. Green would be a nice addition, but please no more silvers!
