My best bet would be on contacting APS directly to see if they have anything where they are or if they know of any US locations that MIGHT have parts.

I agree your obviously not a priority to them.... try giving a call to APS to see if they have any old stock. Or better yet have someone fabricate it locally.

lol i have no desire to flame GTM but i am disappointed. To be honest If they had the parts i would buy it from them today just to save me more work...lol

Having said that i am hyper sensitive to customer relations because by profession i manage middle market relationships for a regional bank in the midwest. All relationships are important even the little ones because once you sell everything that can be sold to existing customers they have to be replaced with new one that are just entering into the buying process.

for me this started when i went on their website to order the stuff (because its listed there for sale)

http://www.gtmotorsports.com/product...cat=258&page=3

before check out I decided i didnt need the whole kit and called to see if they would sell just the parts i needed which is their custom fabricated wastegate manifold and intercooler charge pipe.

They explained to me they didnt actively make them parts anymore. I was like well they are showing on the site for sale? Sam explained, as i mentioned before, he would look around and to email him the request. I did that and called to confirm they got the email because i emailed them in the past regarding a question and they didnt respond to the inquiry either (in their defense they said they never got the email).

they got this email and would get back to me in a couple of days. They didnt, so i emailed again and no response and thought i would check the forums before i started bothering them..lol politely of course.

what i learned here is to not to bother because they are slow.....lol unless its a large ticket item.

What they have working against them is they have things on their site they no longer produce ( as other vendors do) and the other things is if you give a time table you have to keep it. If you cant keep, its simple to email of call the customer and say...hey we need more time

What know one knows.... because i haven't said it, is i would like to know sooner then later because my current system is dissembled on the garage floor and before i put it back together and reinstall it i thought i might try this upgrade out. So my car is just sitting in the garage until i figure if i wanna wait for them to say...nope we cant help you (which they probably will say when they read this thread...lol) if i wanna have another shop draw plans and fabricated or just forget it all together.

When i spoke to them the first time if they said it going to be several weeks to get back to me that would have been helpful instead of making a wayyyyy off time table.

Anyway Ill wait an in the interim maybe someone will no another place i can get the parts made

Oh I see. Yeah, then you gotta continue checking in with GTM if they are the only one who made the part.

Sorry for your perception of their customer service. We're all human and their business differs from your profession. I don't know what else to say other than that my personal experience with them was superb both on the phone and in person.

if you're going to bring your car to CA, take it to Technosquare. No trying to upsell you for the sake of it. Howard is the man and people in the industry definitely respect him and his work that he does.

They haven't updated their site in a while but check out their facebook page.

this post will probably get deleted because it's in a thread conerning GTM and it's not praising them.....

So I guess there customer service isnt always stellar when you not spending alot. But has anyone had issues with just simple online orders? I want to buy T.Ps from them, would it take them forever to ship 'em?

Your post won't get deleted. Also, I had my TN system installed the first time at Technosquare. Yeah, they are great guys. Better pricing too however GTM said that they would've asked you if they could install additional stuff like firehouse wrapping to protect wiring which Technosquare never mentioned.

However, DVO, the OP needs a part that GTM used to fabricate for the APS kit so he needs to contact GTM and not TS unless TS can possibly fabricate the part.

I don't think so. If they get something on an online order, like most businesses they should know where it is in inventory and ship it to you.

What the OP is asking for is a little different since it is a part that they no longer make and that they probably have some spares lying around.

I will always call the vendor to confirm certain items are in stock
just like the op did.

just because it is listed on their site does not mean that they have it as the OP found out when he called GTM to confirm

Im looking for GTM's upgraded custom wastegate manifold and intercooler pipe for the APS single turbo kit.

GTM has gotten back to me this morning! They haven't found anything in inventory but they said they are going to look again. I know now not to rush them.

I ask a couple of local shop about fabricating a new one but they just dont get what im trying to explain to them because they are not familiar with the aps kit.

OP, I strongly recommend that you make it out to your local meets and talk to your local guys about their personal experiences with GTM. They are a huge sponsor on this forum and they censor a lot of the negative comments that are written about them.
