Everybody has different responsibilities and expenses.
Some people might choose to pay $1K+ a month on rent instead of getting a cheaper place and a nicer car, etc.
Its really none of their business what you drive or how you obtained it.

People are the worst.

I worked as the receiving specialist to put myself through college the first time. I got so fed up with the 21 year old girls who ran the place that I walked out and can't go back in without wanting to burn the place down.

I still save money every month. The only thing is am going to leave the car stock.
I'm so sick of hearing people say "wow, I wish I got everything handed to me" or "must be nice to have daddy pay for everything" when everyone makes their own money decisions. I have people that I know spend most of their money at bars/going out (I don't) and don't drive a nice car, and then they wonder how I can afford what I can?

Some people make no sense.

nice car....ok you guys don't you hate when some of your coworkers say to you must be nice to have money i get that from some of my coworkers, why can someone just say nice car take care of it or something some of my coworkers don't even talk to me anymore but like R350Zz33 mention save your money for what you want its not about how much money you have so that's my two cents on that.

Great Thread...this is so true. I felt guilty the few times I brought my 350Z Roadster to work because of the jealousy and remarks I was afraid to get from other people. Because everything is so gloom and doom with one of my co-workers, I couldn't even talk about my Z in the office and when I drove it to work, I parked it far away from my office so nobody would see it. How crazy is that! Now I'm looking to get another Z and I plan to drive it every day to work. But I'm sure I'll be parking it far away from my office just to prevent stupid, jealous comments.

Nothing to be jealous about. Everyone has diff priorities. Some of us dump $ in cool rides, some want to start a family when they are 18 so they have no $ for funsies and later QQ at those who have cool rides..

I've only taken my Z to work maybe 4 times out of close to 8 years of owning it. Each time, I drive it, co-workers would ask around who's car is that? I would go to bathroom, or go to break room when someone does that. One time, there was a guy checking out my car at very close range and that was the last time I took my car out. My owner drives a 15 year old Benz, 3/4 of the cars in our parking lot are more worthy than the owner's car, I drive the 1/4 side to work, not the Z. My Z is very, very clean, it is almost like a new car in the parking lot that is why I get the attention, unwanted. Anyway, OP just enjoy your Z, learn to live with it and now hit some girls- j/k.

Who gives a rats as$? With a part time walmart job you can afford a 350z. Not exactly taking about a lot of money. This thread is so stupid.

So youre not gonna buy the car you really want just because its gonna make your co-workers think different of you? Sorry and no disrespect but thats pathetic.

YESS I cant put it in better words myself. Back then when I drove a Toyota Sequoia regularly I wouldnt care about stuff like this. Then when I got my G(lol yes Im an outsider!!) I found myself to be hiding the car more than showing it. Im really not a type of guy to show off so I didnt like telling people it was my car. Once people found out I drove a G35 ppl thought I was spoiled and a rich kid. Im far from that lol sheit I work hard and save....

life is funny. you want a nice car but then when you finally get one u feel guilty about letting ppl see it cuz they gonna talk bad about u lolll
