Figured I'd post it here since I was in SoCal but don't really want to wade through the tons of messages in the SoCal Forum. Heck, maybe we should leave this as a thread for cross-regional sightings.

1. 2003 Dec 31, ~9pm, saw a DB Z coming in from 99 southbound onto 5 southbound. Kept pace with him for a while, then flashed my hazards (two clicks), and he flashed his high-beams back. Now that's Z-community! If you're here, hi!

2. 2004 Jan 2, ~11pm, saw a PPW on Colima making a right turn onto Fullerton (I made a left turn onto Fullerton). Hi!

3. 2004 Jan 4, ~12:45pm, saw an SS with 17" wheels in front of Men's Wearhouse in Cerritos Towne Centre. I'm a Cerritos person myself, so double hi!!

 

How fast did you get her up to coming up 5 through the central valley?

 

Saw 17 Z's in SoCal area between 12/27 & 1/3. About 3 of them were ZR's. Saw about as many G's as I did Z's. A heckuva lot of Porsches too.

 

Sadly, Central Valley was very very slow and crowded on the way back up. I got so frustrated with the pace of traffic I even cussed a few times. Dang it.

 

i went to SoCal on the dec. 30th .. it was pretty crowded but at certain places i was able to go above 3 digits.

While I was down there I didn't see many Zs, maybe 2 for the 5 days i've been there. However, a lot of people sure likes to stare at the Z.
