On a side note, it is pretty disturbing how this forums taste/style has changed over the past 5 years.

 

Care to elaborate? Maybe it's because of the younger crowd on here?

 

Times change and fads come and go, when I 1st joined the forum(personal SN) there was just a different attitude toward the 350Z. It was looked at as a respected sports car with Z-car heritage. Now a large group of members inspiration is to have their sports car perform worse than stock. In the end everyone has the right to spend their money as they wish but as a Z guy that activity tracks his car I wish more people had the chance to experience their cars on a circuit course. I'm not mad and for the love of God I'm not being a hater lol I just hate to see such potential gone to waste.

i wholeheartedly agree with this statement. its sad when someone says they 'aspire' to build their Z to something that is an inch off the ground, with more camber than a calcium-deficient cripple, and has a contact patch no bigger than my neighbor's kid's BMX bike....

where are the people that want to build their cars like Leemik? or Gsazabi? or Eagletanggreen? or Andy@Performance? sigh...

I know the Z car is limited and taste change, but when you go to that extent then sell off your car to a kid to rip it apart(take a guess). What you expect????????? I know it's not ideal for everyone to have the two car garage to keep the Z. I actually look down on them for leaving now we have this! False idea of what is cool...

Not knocking that crowd but when you go to a car show and people get nuts over a stock Z slammed on 4k wheels...I do the classic head shake!

I love cars with stupid camber and low ride height and we all do!

Would love my z to look like this, I might take it as far as putting the same exhaust...or just N1's, but this car is a dream to me.

 

This is mine right now... I'll have updated pics of my set up when I get home. Steve's MCR hood made me want to do the whole MCR set up but I didn't want to be a poser so I'm keeping the non Nismo V3 rear bumper. I have a different taste and I haven't seen something I'd really model my car after.
