One of the few things i dislike the z is the lack of adjustments of the driver seat, especially the ability to raise and lower the bottom of the seat. I noticed that the 04 has 2 adjustments now for the bottom of the seat!! Dammit! Is there anyway to get this on 04's? besides going out and buying a seat from the dealer??

hmmm no way to adjust the bottom of the seat, there is a way in my touring...lol. maybe your refering to a different adjustment but the **** on the left side usually does the trick for me. true though it only adjusts the front part of the bottom of the seat and does not actually "raise" the whole seat so if thats what your referring too than yea id like that too. yea id guess youd have to buy a whole other seat

 

That's correct! No rear/bottom seat adj. If i remember correctly... all z's have the front bottom adj. I just wish they had the bottom/rear adj.

I would think that you would have to swap out the seats to get the controls for that. Wait for someone to sell their old seats from an '04 and try to get them!!!

 

I just bought an 04 enthusiast and no back raising option either. I looked high and low. the manual listed both types of seat adjustments. one with and one without. my 04 was built 12/03. I hope I didn't just miss the change.
