Just last night I saw another Chrome Silver Z up ahead of me, I tried to catch up next to it to give a thumbs up and invite him to our local club, next thing you know the stock Z starts gunning it.

WTF is up with these Fasterer and Furiouser people.

I don't get it. You can't compliment someone on their car anymore. They either look at you like you're retarded or they want to race. Whatever happened to, "Nice car!" "Thanks!"?

I quickly stopped associating with other Z owners on the road (had my Z for a few months now). I used to have an rsx and for some reason the average rsx driver was way "cooler" (respectable, not offensive, not cuz racecar etc.) The Z is a great car but honestly it stops there for me. I've meet some cool people on this forum in my area but other than that the Z community blows IMO. Even alot of the top threads on this forum are totally useless.

Some guy in a busted red 350Z tried to get me to open my passenger window when I was in midst of making an important decision with my wife. I wasn't in the mood to roll down the window in 100+ degree weather, chat through the passenger side, past my wife, at a stoplight. I must have left him with a negative experience?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was no female - at least she won't be until after the operation.

Yeah, if her belly button sticks out 6 inches, it's a guy. If it sticks out 14 inches it's a dark skinned guy. :-)

Never had a bad experience with a fellow Z owner, especially the older models like the 240 and 280. They are usually very nice and just love when another Z lover comes up to talk about them.

I always get grilled by G owners though. For some reason they think the Z is a cheap version of the G. Occasionally I get the "why didn't you drop the extra cash and get back seats like mine (G owner)" and I reply "I didn't want a girls car so I stuck with a true sports car"

OP, I think they are just dicks. I had a sweet 370z pull up next to me and match speeds on the freeway. I looked over, he gave me a thumbs up and smiled. I nodded. He took off. They end.

No bad experiences.

In hind sight, I think he wanted to race.

No bad experiences, I actually met my neighbor because he has a Z. Now, if we see each other, we acknowledge each other. In my 7.5 years of owning the car, I never had haters except a freaking inspector, who failed me on my parking brake. Since that time, I've had 3 inspections already with 0 fixes on my parking brake.

Meh... everyone at my work calls my car a chick car. Just goes to prove that cops are dicks.

Maybe it's southern hospitality b/c everyone does the headlight flash or "motorcycle wave" to fellow Z owners. Now some of the younger guys are douches that feel like they're in an F-Zero hovercraft, we tend to humble them real quick though!

I'm a new Z owner myself and havent met any other Z owners yet; however, I do feel a sense of bondage when I see other Zs. Im also in SoCal, Huntington Beach to be exact. I dont see many Zs around but when i do Most of the guys seem like douches but hey we have our Zs in conmon lol. Maybe its just the area and most people indeed drive them like theyre F1 cars or something, but hey I enjoy doing the same.
