Another one bites the dust...
LSD + Rain + Stupid Florida Drivers that don't know the difference between an on ramp and off ramp =
I was able to keep it out of traffic, but the wall owned it. I was the only person involved, and other than a crushed soul for losing my dream car, and a seat belt shaped bruise around my chest and shoulder. Literally was driving home from getting the alignment done, just did plenum spacer, access port, and Carbonetic LSD last week, Sunday was my first drift event. Sad to see it go, but since I know this forum, have fun picking it apart guys.

Accident was caused by some idiot slamming his brakes to take an on ramp as an off ramp, I broke and swerved around him, locked up and gave it gas to keep it out of the lane with traffic. It's a 1.5 way, so as soon as I lifted the throttle the rear end swung around, and I tried to correct, but at 80mph on the highway, your first instinct isn't to hit the throttle (which could have pulled me out of it; ie. what I would have done differently), so I hit the brakes and clutched in, and it swung the opposite way. I slid sideways, trying to counter steer, but didn't have enough traction or angle, so I hit the wall about 50. Both airbags blew, bounced off the wall, flipped around, and it stopped how the picture shows it.
I haven't heard from Geico yet, they're adjuster is off till monday. If they total it, I'm going to keep it, tube front, and buy a truck to trailer it so I don't have to pay insurance. If I change my mind, I'll send everyone interested a link to the FS thread.

Good you are ok, Geico is pretty good, I totaled a vehicle several years ago with them and they gave me no problems. Am still Insured with them.....12 years and great rates.

I can't for the life of me figure out those skid marks... They must be yours, no? How'd your car get to where it is in the pic? And yeah - 80mph is too much for US19 but everyone flies on it.
How do your interior body panels look? I'd be a buyer for some pieces that aren't scratched, previous owner demolished mine.
