Not real sure? It's like deteriorating in the top where the sun beats down on it. No really on the leather per say but whatever that top portion is

Slow? I wouldn't really say that. I mean they aren't a vette, or a 5.0 mustang. But they are Deff no civic miata or eclipse. I would say more of a real mid life crisis car lol

Here's something people don't quite grasp: Any car can become a ricer. Yes I said any car, including those $100K plus cars. You make what you want of a car. If you want to go ahead and throw on windshield wiper lights, underglow, and an obnoxious USELESS spoiler...it's bound to be rice, if it's not already. On the other hand, if you go ahead and actually pay some mind to detail and work on the car where it counts, then you got yourself a worthy car. The car itself is not, from the beginning, a ricer; the owner is. Think what you want of this.

Spoilers useless? You mean they down actually provide downforce for my "super fast" to stay grounded and not fly? (Weak joke I know)). I agree 100%. Great input on the convo. A little flare, I gues you could call it lol, can turn any car rice. Just depends on the driver because a car itself cant put a vtech sticker on the side. Btw I need a vtech sticker... It's like nitrous for cars

I agree with HDODZ06, it's painful to read. I always look at the Z as a nice sports car in the right hands. It's fun to drive, stock or modded.

btw this forum has been really helpful with some problems ive ran into. funny thing is i bought a z and my friend bought a charger thinking he was gonna beat me LOL.. now everytime we go out he looks like a dumbass trying to race me.. just ask him to put his money where his mouth is and i guarantee that you will smoke his car 1 link...

z33s has a pretty timeless look to it. People who don't know about cars, think it looks amazing. That being said, as long as you are keeping the car close to stock exterior wise, it will always look like a respectable car.

Overall i'd say the Z is a relatively "legit" non ricer car but it's been on the market long enough that you can get older model years for pretty cheap now.

That opens the door up to shall we say....certain "stereotypical groups" that have poor taste in their modifications.

Also, what is considered "rice" varies greatly from person to person

The Z, in general, is not a ricer IMO. Whether it ends up being a ricer, like every other car, depends on the owner's taste in mods. As long as the mod is functional, then it's not rice.

I know this, charger V6 are SLOW. The V8's are not as impressive as some make them out to be. I beat an R/t at a drag track about a month ago. They are too heavy. The SRT8 is quick. The R/T ran a 14.5 and I ran a personal best of 13.97. I don't have a track slip unfortunately, but all I've gathered is chargers suck unless you spend $50g's

not all american cars are heavy and slow, there are a couple that are pretty beast ie. Corvettes, Shelby mustangs, etc. Both of those cars weigh the same as a Z and you can def feel the speed.

Don't listen to idiots like that. When I was getting my Z alot of my friends that have American cars talked alot of smack, until they came with me for drives. Now most of them love my car.

My dad calls me my Z a riceburner because I put on the nismo exhaust, yet he is the one that talked me into getting a Z and he loves driving my car lol.

It's just the nature of the game. There will always be haters.

All the 2005+ Chargers are/were assembled in Canada.
