I'm planning on adding these seats with the 5 point harness as well.

aren't five-point harnesses illegal? how much is the fine for that?

also, i had a question -- will putting aftermarket leather on seats interfere with the side-impact airbags? just wondering since i was considering the Classic Soft Trim option, when it becomes available.

I haven't heard that 5 point harness are illegal. I do know that Porsche, Ferrari, and the Dodge Viper have the option of 5 point harnesses. Maybe it's just a state regulations.

Do you think Nismo will offer the 5-point belts? I think this would have been a great option to have. I used one during my last race and was suprised what a difference they made. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good set?

If the seats are going to look as good as these I'll keep them.

Does the track model come with leather? I assumed that it came with everything the other models do plus its specific items. But I could always be wrong.

Leather seats are not available on the track and performance models, I wanted leather for my seats but the option wasn't available.

My long list of items I don’t like about the 350z are diminishing, cloth was one but the above picture changed that, I still dont' like the steering, but as the day gets closer that's fading away.

Are there any good after market steering wheels with airbags available, I like the looks of the 3 prong steering on the VW and Audi's.

Ok, not to be repetitive, but so the seats pictured are what I would get in the track model? I wonder if you could twist their arm and pay a little extra for the leather. Either that or just spring for some sparcos.

My understanding was that those seats are JUST for the show car, and the "carbon" interior will be uniform dark-grey-nearly-black color all the way around.

I hope that's not the way the cloth interior looks, because in my opinion, it's ugly. The brown is not a good compliment to the black.

Hopefully, the charcoal leather is all black.
