Troll post here.

Auto's in sports cars are good for three kinds of people.

1. Drag racers who are trying to break records in the quarter mile.
2. People with a bad leg/foot.
3. Women.

Carry on.

I never said I can shift faster nor did I say I ever wanted to. Also, did you not read what I put in the bullet list? A lot of automatics today can shift faster than humans hence the reason I said if people are trying to break speed records (you better have a lot of power) then I could see why. Other than the 2 other points I made, I see no reason why someone would opt for an automatic in a sports car. The manual is just so more engaging and makes the car 10 times more fun to drive. There is a reason z06's, nismo's, vipers, etc. come in manual transmission only (hell, even little ol honda si's are manual only, lol). However, if someone prefers automatic over manual than more power to them. I just don't understand it.

I thinl the point of the article was auto or manual its a good car. I hate personally driving an auto. But the choice of gearboxes shouldn't discourage someone from buying one.

Good find! I think most of the info is accurate. I personally like the 03-05 interior more than the 06-08 but thats just me.

I agree with Massphx I love the **** outta my 07 and she is an enthuisiast deff no need for higher models! you can keep that extra 500lbs! just a little over the base is perfect! my transmission was replaced due to a whirring noise 5k before i got the car and ive put 17 on her with 5k boosted to 500hp...
Overall great car! Glad i choose her over an eclipse or tibi like i was going to do!
Interior is a deff plus in the HR the cupholders are beautifully positioned! Less squeeky just all around nicer! One of my best friends has an 04.5 and is envious of my interior.

There were a few inaccuracies, but i'm sure they will addressed. I disagree with you on the interior, the interiors over the years had minor changes but nothing drastic. I have 140k miles on my Z and don't have rattles, or any issues with the interior. Addressing the road noise issue, check your tires to make sure they are aligned should lower road noise like most cars.

You're a moron.

My Z06 would be a lot faster on the street and more of a joy to drive if it had an automatic transmission.

LULZ.

This has got to be the first time I've ever heard someone say an automatic is more fun to drive than a manual. To each their own though ().

Manual trans cars definately keep their value better than autos. No one is looking for a used sports car with an automatic. Look at 2000 camaro prices. 300zx, 240sx prices etc. A manual car is DOUBLE the price.

Okay, I read the article. I guess my only criticism is that I never imagined I'd ever hear anyone give praise to the factory Bose stereo system or the factory navigation system. Those were the biggest turds the 350Z ever took.

Let me know when you have driven an Auto Z, Auto C6, Manual Z, Manual C6Z.

Also let me know when you turn old enough to drive.

FAIL. Some of my past cars (all manual, although I did test drive the automatic c6 for chits and giggles). My truck is automatic though (for obvious reasons).

2003 350z
2008 g37s
2007 c6 vette
2004 dodge Viper

Older than you think chief. Blanket statements FTL. You real mad.

Why on earth would I make that up (not that impressive if you ask me)?

LOL, I prove you wrong and you cry wolf (typical butthurt move). Are you sure you aren't the child in this scenario? Now, why don't you make like a tree, and get out of here.

Nope

You made a wrong statement about manual transmissions being the best thing ever invented, I corrected you. You haven't really made any valid arguments against my comments (nor was your initial reply valid) and post stupid memes.

Your opinion regarding transmissions is probably as bad as your decision to buy a G37S, so unless you have trees that make your invalid arguments make sense, maybe you should leave?
