4/20/2011 i just got my car back from the body shop. i was geting it repainted and got everything shaved on it, gorgeous fell in love with it all over again, then
7/23/11 comes around, i was driving around with my friend and my gf was with her friend in the car next to me, she was in the inside lane which HAD to turn left, i was in the outside lane where i can keep going or turn left, i decided i would turn left and she decided not to! needless to say i turned into her car door, broke my fender, my headlight, my lip, and my bumper, $3900 worth of damage!! her fault so that was all good,
9/25/11 comes around at my brothers, parked my car 3rd floor in a parking garage, not one car up there but me, i come out 45mins later to my whole effing car keyed!!!!!!!!! im talking every panel, including my headlights, i got the estimate done $8300 worth of damage, $4600 was just for labor, and $1100 was for my head lights, so b4 i left for asscrackistain, I bought brand new headlights, for $650 bucks, saved $450 there, and i decided i would do the body work myself i sanded my car down to bare metal, took the weather stripping off, all they have to do is shave my new bumper and fender, so basically all they need to do is the paint stages, such as filler, primer, all that good jazz, so i hope i saved quite a bit there, but any way that is the worst thing to ever happen to my Z

Had an old guy drive down the entire LHS of my Z while trying to park in a pedestrian walkway next to me. $3k damage and I did file charges against him for leaving the scene of an accident (he drove through a playground with kids playing in it to get away because he couldn't reverse back). Happened in front of a party of lawyers having dinner who all kindly left their business cards. He permanently lost his license as a result. No regrets.

a few weeks back i found smudges on both my doors n cleaned them off. next morning samething so i started thinking to myself maybe someones trying to get into it? then i find out its not necessarily someone but my dog -___- i found abt two or three minimal scratches on each of my doors close to the windows as if he were just looking into the car.. hes a Boxer just a yr n 2 months..theres no way to keep him out of the garage its complicated to explain how the house is setup but yea very frustrating. thankfully hasnt happened again.. anyways i was able to get them all out and paints looking good again

I have a Neo-Chrome (Dark Chameleon) paintjob (about $7,800) and while I was parallel parked outside of a restaurant in town some girl hit my bumper, drove off, and didn't leave a thing... Estimate to repaint just the bumper $2300. Gotta love it.

O and just a fun story. I was pulling out of a Sheetz yesterday, guy driving a 1990 Honda Accord EX with plastic chrome wheels threw something at my car and flicked me off, so I pulled out, passed him, stopped the car down the road and got out. He swerved off the road to go around me, then later found my Facebook account, messaged me, and said "I could have destroyed you but I wasn't trying to even get into it. I don't have my new exhaust on yet" I smiled, gently closed the laptop, and walked away.

2 days ago my roomates dad backed into my car. nothing major. Just a small crease in the front bumber.
He wasn't going to say anything but since my car was parked behind him in the driveway...
He actually had to walk past my car to get to his.

some kids that were really young picked up some rocks and keyed it but it wasn't deep enough that I had to get the whole thing repainted. Got some scratch repair paint and had my bro fix it in like 30min

Unhappy Deep Key Scratches - TWICE!

Parked in the same stall for the past 8 years - then all of a sudden!

Huge scratch 24" long and 1/8" wide. Must be deep 'cause I can see white under the black paint and the thumb test is positive-practically came off!
It wasn't by accident either; there's a scratch in the [plastic rear valance/ bumper too but it is solid plastic, not painted.

Any ideas about fixing? Sorry I can't upload pics because they're 2.5 MB

i have a couple. some guy blew a stop sign and hit me head on and f***ed up the front end of my car pretty good. it sat in front of my house for a week without being bothered as i waited on adjusters. the day i go to start it up and take it to the body shop nothing happened. well, because the front bumper was busted up someone was able to pop the hood and stole the battery and all of the main relays. also had someone cut the convertible top in 2 places. jealous bitches

Some chick t-boned me and ran a couple months ago. By the time I got turned around and went after her, she was gone. Probably would have murdered her, so I guess it was better that way.

my biggest issue was living in North Hollywood and not having a garage. i have had ZERO issues since moving to Pasadena and garaging her. i say go for the roadster if that's what you really want. people are going to do stupid **** to your car regardless

They were egging from the side of the freeway, near an off ramp & parking area...so by the time i realized what had happened i was past that exit. Plus, i assume there was more then one guy doing it....shitty area too.

As pissed as i was, i value my life more than the car...wasn't about to go look for these low lifes

Hit and run on my driver side door. Right along the body line and a whole bunch of scratches. No info left. $1k in damage. One month ago. I'm still raging about it.
