How do I know if my Bose is bad? -2003.

Any updates on your case? I have the same problem. There is absolutely no BASS in my system. it's like listening to spoons falling against sheet metal. I have a case open with nissan; but, all I got is a polite "Here's the number for BOSE consumer affairs".
