Default Are splash guards removable?

I found a Z that I like, but it has splash guards which I don't like. The dealer stated that these splash guards are removable and after they are removed no holes will be visible. Is this correct?

they are removable, and the holes are underneath the car and in the wheel wells so you won't see them. The only concern I would have is if the car has a little bit of mileage on it, the paint beneath the splash guards may not be 100%...

The car is new so hopefully doesn't have many miles on it, so I should be fine right?

there will be two holes behind each rear tire in the wheel well lip. depending on the color of your car, those holes will be either less or more obvious. what you could do if it is obvious, is to get small plugs and paint them body color using touch up paint.

personally, i like them. i didnt have it on my car when i bought it and later purchased and installed the guards.

some people on this forum have stated that when they removed the guards, there have been deep scratches where the guard edges meet the car body.

Oh there were scratches.....I remember the splash guards had to go away for the veilside rear skirt to be installed and when I saw the scratches the guards caused, I immediately destroyed them. Now I don't know what to do about the scratches, don't want to get the rear bumper repainted...

Any pics of the holes which are left visible after removal of the guards? Thanks.
