Default Navigation Door Not Flush

I don't have a problem with the quality of the navigation door or how it opens or closes like some people have reported. I do have a problem with the way the door fits when it is closed. The bottom of the door and side are flush with the dash board, but the top isn't. It's like the top of the door is caught under the dash board and is about 1/4" in from the dash. I have attached a picture that show this. Does anybody else have this problem ?

That's how it's supposed to be.

I believe what you describe as a "problem" is as-designed. It's not a big deal, is it?

There is no problem. No problem what so ever. It's not a isolated manufacturing flaw, nor is it a design flaw. It doesn't cause any trouble, and it doesn't look bad.

Well I'm a perfectionist and I don't think it looks good. It also certantly doesn't need to be that way for the door to open. I've seem other nav systems and compartments with flush doors. I can probably live with it but it is definitely a desgin/manufactureing flaw. Nobody would actually design it that way.
