Any of the Austin folks want to have a little get together tomorrow (Friday 9/13) night? There are several new owners that we have yet to meet (with a couple new colors/models.) I know this is short notice. Sorry. I just thought that since the Houston gang doesn't seem to want to meet up (still waiting), I would see if I could get my Z fix before I head to Houston.

Capital Z of Texas is having a meet out at Z raceway on 620 between I-35 and 183 on Saturday 9/21 1:00pm. We'll be hanging out and trying to race the slot cars.

I vote for 9/21 as proposed by doodz, so we can have a little bigger turn out. This is less than 24 hours notice and it is not fair for those many that check the forum occasially.

Where do you all think would be a good place to meet up? I don't have a lot of experience with these get togethers. Any ideas? I am on the North side (Round Rock) so, preferably somewhere on this side of town, but I am willing to go most anywhere.

The favorite place w/ the S2K group is Waterloo Ice House on 38th & Medical Pkwy. Centrally located, w/ good, reasonably priced food & beverages, esp. during HH.

 

Chris S - Waterloo used to be where CZOT held it's monthly meetings. It is central, but the parking lot was rather crowded. I've actually seen your group down there before.

We now meet at Amaya's taco village in Capital Plaza. Still somewhat central and plenty of parking spots.

I'll try and meet up with some of y'all this evening if I have time.

 

I like the location we picked last time -- Back parking lot @ Rudy's BBQ in Round Rock... Friday afternoon with traffics etc.

So depending on where we meet, I'm in.

Is there anyone interested in coming that is on the south side of town?

If not, how about in the parking lot at La Frontera by all those restaurants? We have several different options to eat at and what not. There seems to be a lot of space to park as well, and not worry.

What time are you thinking? I work downtown and live in Central Austin and don't really want to fight Friday afternoon rush hour traffic up to Round Rock.

 

I was thinking 6:30 or 7PM. Would this work for everyone?

I don't know how bad traffic will be between Central Austin and Parmer before then, but my trip from Parmer to Round Rock has been real smooth since they finished all the construction.

I really can't wait to see adam's car. I haven't seen a Brickyard in person yet. It really is amazing how excited I get just thinking about seeing a Z. This waiting for my car is making me loopy.
